In this episode of the Align podcast, special guest Mike Wasilisin talks about the power of embracing pain. We chat about how everyone has the ability within them to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve and how everyone can live an unbelievable life that is free from pain. But in order to get there, we need to endure the pain, as it's a necessary part of growth, both physically and mentally. So instead of avoiding the pain, we need to steer towards it to live the life we want for ourselves.

Mike is the founder of MoveU, a step by step method for helping you develop positional presence, a state of whole-body symmetry where you’re constantly observing, and correcting your body’s position with your muscles to achieve balance and strength.

Prior to MoveU, Mike had a clinical practice that led him to work around the clock, with no room for a personal life. Realizing this isn’t the life he wanted for himself, he dedicated every free moment to building the life he truly wanted that allowed him to commit to his higher purpose: inspiring the world to transform pain into a powerful mind and body.

In this episode of the Align podcast, I chat with world-renowned boxer, Tony Jeffries. Tony was the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, 7 time national champion, and an undefeated professional boxer. Today, Tony remains active in the fitness industry, traveling the world as an international trainer, honing the skills of professional athletes, including UFC fighters, and sculpting the bodies of some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

 

I believe Tony is the kindest, most open-hearted human, especially for being such a bad ass, and know you’re going to enjoy our grounded and authentic conversation on what it’s like to have an Olympic mindset. Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell burst onto the MMA scene in 1998 during his UFC debut fight win against Noe Hernandez in UFC 17.  His rise to UFC champion includes most notable TKO wins against Randy Couture (UFC 52 & 57), Tito Ortiz (UFC 47 & 66), Wanderlei Silva (UFC 79) and the KO win that catapulted him into UFC stardom at UFC 31 against Kevin Randleman.  Chuck reigned as UFC World Light Heavyweight Champion for two years, defending his title five times.

Brian and his wife, Lindsey, built an EMF shielded tiny house in the summer of 2017.  Brian travels all over the country doing EMF assessments, speaking at conferences and on podcasts, and helping families install shielding solutions. He doesn't always bring the tiny house with him. It's not really so tiny!
